| Bought this as a gift for a woman in her 50's and she loves it! She also reads Oprah's magazine, but finds that this one is much better, the articles are really good, and there are far fewer ad's. She said she would pick this magazine over Oprah's which surprised me.. Great gift! |

This magazine is great. It never fails to have an interesting article written by an older woman that is really relevant to my life.
Middle age, i.e. after 40, is a time of transition. You start to look back at your life and decide that if you are ever going to fulfill your dreams, now is the time, as your face is starting to fall.. LOL
I love reading articles written by women who are at a crossroads. Women who decide to change careers, leave the rat race and live their dreams. It can be done.
The articles are so meaningful to me. Some people have complained on that the fashions were to expensive. I see the fashions as a waste anyway. There are tons of magazines out there that show fashions for all price ranges. This is the only one that has articles and advice on wrinkle creams for older women. :) |

| The magazine did not catch my interest at any time when I first received it and, after a year or so, I decided to cancel. If there is a way to cancel at the More website, it is very well hidden. I don't want any money, I just don't want to receive the magazine anymore. At the bottom of the More homepage is the name "Meredith Corporation." At that website I was able to go to the customer service and fill in my address info and was directed to a page that allowed me to fill in info to cancel. The confirmation said to allow 7 days to upgrade my account. Hopefully that will take care of it. Just a note-many magazines pass on subscription info to a third party and that is who you have to deal with in many cases. I wanted to post this info at the More website but I would have had to open an account with a magazine I was trying to cancel in the first place. Hope allows this to be printed. Good luck to those trying to cancel. |

| I love this magazine and tend to read it cover to cover. There's no "tween" stuff in it, just things that I can actually use and articles on topics that I actually care about. I've passed this magazine along to my friends but started buying them their own subscriptions so I can keep my copies. |

The magazine came with a great price and a free year for a friend. That is the only positive I can give. More leans grossly to the left to the gag point. Over priced clothing, makeup, cleansers and moisturizers are not the norm and More uses them as their majority advertising products. Guess what? We are in difficult economic times and saving money while getting a great look would be something I would prefer to read. Articles with poor editing are another issue. February 2010 issues article More}attitude states, "the Physicians Desk Reference (PDR) is a guide to all the maladies to which we humans are vulnerable." WRONG and dumb to think we consumers will buy that BS. It is a guide to drugs the physicians prescribe and many diseases are mentioned as why that drug is prescribed but it is not for the purpose of "maladies." Duh!!! Plus the PDR is not used today in our electronic medical environment. So it is not "In every doctor's office." Save your money and never believe everything you read.
